Undocumented students face numerous challenges in pursuing higher education. The uneducated response to this is to "get documented" but there are many layers to this onion to delve into. These students are often denied access to financial aid and scholarships, face legal and social barriers, and may lack the necessary support systems. Despite these obstacles, it is crucial to recognize the importance of supporting undocumented students in higher education. By providing them with equal opportunities, we can promote diversity, foster economic growth, and uphold the principles of justice and fairness.

In this article and episode, we talk with Karina Alcorchas and Cynthia Chavez-Lomeli, Co-Founders of The Two Percent Fund. The Two Percent Fund's mission is to recognize and support undocumented students across the city of Chicago who demonstrate financial need to continue their education.
