Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation Check-In

We kicked off Greater than Zero Percent project with an impromptu -interview with Joseph Mapp at Precious Blood Ministry Of Reconciliation months ago. Since then we've really defined our mission to highlight outstanding individuals and organizations, it was only natural that we'd come back and do an updated interview with the man who started it all!Joseph and the work he and his colleagues do at PBMR continue to help inspire change and growth within the groups of people they serve. Tune in as Joseph and Joseph discuss the meaning of restorative justice and how society can embrace individuals "who are at promise for success".Know of an individual or group that is working hard to leave a better impact in their community? We want to tell their story!Connect with PBMR: Website: http://pbmr.org/Email: info@pbmr.org Phone: (773) 952-6643Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pbmrchicagoIG @pbmr_chicagoLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/precious-blood-ministry-of-reconciliation-nfp/Connect with GTZP! Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation

Mission

Rooted in the spirituality of the Precious Blood, we restore human dignity through hospitality, hope and healing.

About

We work as agents of reconciliation to build relationships among youth and families impacted by violence and/or conflict, create safe spaces where people can experience radical hospitality, hope and healing, and promote a restorative justice approach to conflict and build a sense of community.

We serve youth, families, and community members that reside in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood who are impacted by violence and the criminal justice system. We also work directly with men and women who are currently incarcerated.

In our pursuit of building a beloved community, PBMR is dedicated to fostering a diverse, equitable, & inclusive organization at all levels. Consistent with these values we welcome all people into the PBMR community without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, military/veteran status or disabilities. PBMR does not provide services based on religious affiliation or adherence.
