Mission

The National LGBTQ Workers Center supports and creates space for members of the LGBTQ+ community in the workforce.

About

The National LGBTQ Workers Center (NLWC) is a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Queer organization where workers can go to stand up to workplace discrimination and fight for economic justice. It is for members of the LGBTQ+ community, and run by members of that community. NLWC is working to teach members of the LGBTQ+ community to resist workplace discrimination and collectively fight for economic justice. They conduct research to determine what the workforce truly is like for members of the LGBTQ+ community. The National LGBTQ Workers Center uses this research to not only guide their work, but also to educate the general public. They also have a Workers' Rights Hotline where members of the LGBTQ+ community can call for immediate support.
