About

Youth of Englewood is a 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 2013 by LaTanya Johnson. The organization works with youth ages 5-13 to educate, build recreation communication skills, create social opportunities, offer support and to provide strong relationships with capable, caring, and positive adults. Youth of Englewood places a lot of importance on those strong adult relationships because they believe that is a key component of helping children succeed in unstable environments. They offer a daily after school program and a summer program as well as numerous additional opportunities throughout the year including field trips, celebrity meet & greets, and a toy drive. The Youth of Englewood believes that children are resilient, their organization is simply providing them the tools they need to be successful.
