Description

In Season 1, Episode 1, we hear Joseph "JoJo" Mapp, Reentry Case Manager at Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation (PBMR) describe how they are supporting reentering citizens get off to a good start.

The PBMR is a non-profit organization 501(c)3 registered in the State of Illinois. They strive to offer a safe and welcoming space where young people and families can gather and feel as though they are at home.  PBMR also strives to bridge differences and discover how much we all have in common. In building relationships, we respond through support; job training, education, mentoring, trauma are, recreation and a host of other activities.

About Reentry

People returning home after incarceration often face extremely high barriers to success. PBMR works actively with returning citizens to ensure a supportive and welcoming return.
